My Mamma’s Hat Farm & CSA is operated by Raymond Amos and nestled within the 80 acre Left Hand Valley Tree Nursery in Niwot, Colorado. We sell our vegetables at Denver's Cherry Creek Farmer's Market every Saturday from 8-1. In Longmont we'll be at the YMCA from 10AM until 1PM. Our produce is served at many of the finest restaurants including Tortuga's, Terroir and Sugarbeet in Longmont. May 17, 2010 will be the launch for the first year of our CSA. Unfortunately we cannot allow visitors on a daily basis however we can arrange occasional farm tours. Please check for up-coming events

By providing beautifully grown produce, picked at the peak of freshness to our friends and neighbors we help maintain a vital link in sustaining local food production in the local economy. We believe this small endeavor helps build community by helping you stay connected to local producers rather than the dependence on produce grown hundreds of miles away. We strive to minimize the use of energy by providing you with the freshest, high quality produce grown in season right here in Boulder County.

The produce you will find at My Mamma’s Hat Farm & CSA offers many of the choices found in large retail groceries, but because we care about flavor and the preservation of heirloom varieties you can expect to find many choices often not found at large scales production grocers. Because we are curious about so many heirloom varieties and we hope you are too, come see what’s new for the current season.

Our commitment to being responsible stewards of land and water resources means using them with respect and reverence for the health of the wildlife that lives within it and our own. Each days work enriches our souls by knowing our labor helps build community. This endeavor drives us to collaborate with other regional producers to provide you with additional choices that complement our commitment to quality and freshness. This commitment to fostering local trade builds not only our immediate economy but also the region by keeping resources here in Colorado.

Through our CSA you’ll find not only our produce grown in season but local honey. We will also offer shares of Colorado stone fruits and grass fed Beef, Bison and Lamb produced with the same commitment quality and your best health in mind.

Our greatest rewards are you, our customers who return week after week to share your recipes, stories and most of all your thanks. I look forward to the new growing season, many happy returns!
